North 24th St Streetscape Improvements
The purpose of this project is to enhance the safety, accessibility, and aesthetics of North 24th Street from Ohio Street to Sahler Street.

Schedule
- Design Notice to Proceed: February 2025
- Preliminary Design Submittal: May 2025
- Right-of-Way (if necessary): June 2025 – April 2026
- Final Design Submittal: May 2026
- Bid for Construction: August 2026
- Construction Begins: Spring 2027
Status Updates
April 14, 2025
General Project Management
- Initial project lighting meeting with BID on March 21st
- City Council PE and NEPA contract approval on April 8th
Design (PE) Status
- City review of Schemmer 10% Plans and Cost Estimate in progress
- Schemmer working on typical roadway sections to supplement the 10% Design
- Schemmer currently performing roadway drainage analysis
Environmental (NEPA) Status
- HDR subconsultant, Historic Resources Group, Inc. (HRG), completed fieldwork to evaluate historic structures along corridor.
- HRG draft report anticipated by the end of April.
Upcoming Milestones
- Plan-in-Hand (PIH) submittal due May 12, 2025
- Post PIH Plan submittal due July 23, 2025
- Public Information Meeting (after PIH) TBD
