North 24th St Streetscape Improvements
The purpose of this project is to enhance the safety, accessibility, and aesthetics of North 24th Street from Ohio Street to Sahler Street.

- Sidewalks and ADA curb ramps
- Landscaping
- Signage
- Pedestrian-scale lighting
- Possible traffic calming
- Possible sewer modifications
- Design Notice to Proceed: February 2025
- Preliminary Design Submittal: May 2025
- Right-of-Way (if necessary): June 2025 – April 2026
- Final Design Submittal: May 2026
- Bid for Construction: August 2026

- Schemmer submitted Post Plan-in-Hand (PPIH) package on August 27, 2025
- City of Omaha, NDOT, and Stakeholders are concurrently reviewing the PPIH package
- Urban Design Review Board application submitted on August 29, 2025
- City of Omaha is anticipating a NTP to proceed with Right-of-Way process
Environmental (NEPA) Status
- Threatened and Endangered biological assessment submitted on September 03, 2025
